Official Nominee of Best of Clarksville!!

Whoop! Whoop!

How excited am I to announce that I was named one of the nominees in Best of Clarksville this year in the Photographer category!?!?! What an honor!

I won't lie. It was a complete SHOCK to find out I'd been named a nominee. I am so thankful and greatful to all my fans and customers that took the time to vote and thought enough of my work to do so. :)

I hope you'll all come out the big event on October 7th to vote for Best of Clarksville in all the categories! It's a fantastic fund raising event for the March of Dimes, and there will be tons of fun and vendors to keep you entertained!

For more information, visit the March of Dimes website for time, location and ticket pricing.

{Happy Birthday!} | Clarksville, TN Child Photographer

Happy birthday, {C}-man! He turns TWO today! :)

This little guy is just the cutest - tow head blonde with big, blue eyes. He was a tough cookie in the beginning, but he started to come around when we started jumping off of things, running around places, and THROWING ROCKS! lol Yep, we let him throw rocks. :) It's amazing what some rock throwing will do for a boy's disposition. *tee hee*

I had fun with you yesterday, and I hope your mommy enjoys her sneak peek from your session.

{All I Want For Christmas....} | Clarksville, TN Child and Family Photographer my two front teeth!

These guys were so fun! Yet another example of me making a complete GOOF of myself to get the smiles and laughs, but it was worth it in the end!

I'm glad I got to spend some time with you young men and capture this fun and fleeting time of tooth loss! Every mom loves a snaggle tooth smile, and I'm excited your mom chose me to capture this moment in your life!

{Momma's Boy} | Clarksville, TN Child and Family Photographer

This sweet little guy and his mommy came to visit me last weekend to get some new pictures together...and to update Little Man's birthday picture. :)

I had fun goofing off and giggling with you two. I hope you enjoy your pictures!

{Great Grans} | Clarksville, TN Child and Family Photographer

So, let me say I feel so honored to have photographed this group of kids and women. Why? Because they drove 6 HOURS to come see me! Me! Jamie Lynn Photography! How awesome and flattering is that?

I had been prepped and told I was going to have my work cut out for me. And, besides making a complete FOOL of myself to get some laugh out of the kiddos, I think the session went smoothly. :) I can only imagine what was going through everyone's heads when I was shaking my booty or making funny animal noises. :P All for the shot, right?

I hope you find your images were worth the trip - and I hope Great Grandma falls in love with the images you pick for her. :)

How excited was I to have all eyes on me in this shot? No head swapping necessary!

{Pretty in Pink} | Clarksville, TN Infant and Child Photographer

This pretty little princess came to visit me for her six month portraits last week. And, isn't she just the cutest, sweetest little thing you've seen. :) She was such a happy, smiley baby - it made my job EASY!!

I hope your mommy enjoys all the pictures of you, Miss {H}. I know I do!

{Outnumbered!} | Clarksville, TN Family and Child Photographer

Meet the {D} Family! Aren't they a handsome bunch? Or, maybe I should say pretty....because Dad is the only MALE. :) Even the pup is a girl! *wink*

I had fun exploring with your family at the park. Thanks for enduring the heat and those mean mosquitos! I hope you find your images are worth it. :)

{Seeing Double} | Clarksville, TN Infant Twin Photographer

I *heart* these little guys. It seems just like yesterday they were in front of the camera and so fresh and new. Then, they come to see me, and holy moly have they grown!

You boys were both so sweet and precious. I'm excited to continue to watch you grow over your first year.

Getting Caught Up!

My, my, my has it been a whirlwind of a week this past week! I've been so busy I haven't had time to blog. Craziness! I feel so blessed. :) Remember, though, you can always view sneak peeks on my Facebook Page. It's so much faster than loading, transferring and sharing my story. *tee hee*

And, so, sit back, relax, and enjoy (hopefully) what I've been busy doing.

{Pure} | Clarksville, TN Newborn & Family Photographer

Who doesn't like the pureness of a brand new babe? The smell, the feel, the look. *sigh* There's just something about a brand new baby that makes people melt.

This little dude was no exception. He has the prettiest lips (or, should I say handsome??) and chubbiest cheeks! And, he was so good and laid back for his session. Makes a photographer happy!

Congratulations {P} family. I hope you enjoy every single second you get to spend with your little man, Mr. {P}. Thank you for your sacrifice you make for our country's freedoms.

The little mommies...aka Big Sisters. :)

What a beautiful mommy!

{Together} | Clarksville, TN Family Photographer

This lovely family came to see me when Miss {P} was born five months ago, and they're back for updated family portraits. Yay! We love customers that come back to see us.

It was a pleasure seeing you all again and meeting Big Sister!

{Fresh} | Clarksville, TN Newborn Photographer

We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this little lady! She's had tons of people praying for her and guessing when she would make her spectacular debut! Daddy bought her rubies, so she HAD to come in July! Well....she JUST did make her deadline. :) Thank goodness for 31 days in July!

She is just perfect in every way, Mrs. {A}. Congratulations to you and Daddy!

I rarely put my own creative spin on portraits because not everyone shares my "artistic" vision. :) But, I couldn't resist with this portrait. It just lent itself to being processed with a vintage feel to it. :D
