Six Months Old! | {Clarksville, TN/Ft. Campbell, KY Newborn Infant Family Photographer}

I had the pleasure of meeting this little doll baby and her parents last evening.  She was so proud showing off her latest skill of sitting up on her own.  And, there is NO DOUBT she is a Daddy's Girl.  No one could get her to smile or laugh quite like Daddy could.

Here's just a quick peek into their session.  More to come soon....

Two Years Later | {Clarksville, TN/Ft. Campbell, KY Newborn Infant Child Photographer

It's hard to believe that it has been two years ago since I met this sweet little boy and his family.  I have really enjoyed watching this guy grow into the cute little fella he is today!  A boy through and through, he had fun playing in the dirt, picking up rocks and sticks, and driving his newly found car around.

Here's a quick peek at this little guy and his parents.  More to come soon....

And, a quick flash back to this cutie patootie when he was brand new.

Getting Personal | {Clarksville, TN/Ft. Campbell Newborn & Child Photographer}

I don't often share posts about my personal life or photos of my children on the blog.  But, I know how it is to be curious about the person you're entrusting to capture your life long images.  So, this blog post is all about getting personal.  :)

I took time off from photographing and blogging to get reacquainted with my family.   These younger years are so precious, and I didn't want to miss too much.  You see, I have three children 5 and under and now have one more on the way due in just over a month!  Yes, 4 children in 5 years!  No, I'm not crazy.  :)  Our lives are full of joy, laughter, tears, and booboos.  There's never a dull moment, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You can ask my mom and she will be the first to tell you I spend more time photographing your children and your family and not enough time trying to photograph my own.  The honest truth to that is my children are my WORST customers.  There's this thing among my peers called "PCS" or Photographer's Child Syndrome.  All my children with the exception of my oldest daughter suffer from this "syndrome."   Like I said, never a dull moment!

So, the day I decided to pull out my camera and drag my kids out on location was a day I felt "inspired."  Here's a peek into the life of my kids.  :)

Sweet {M}, the Birthday Girl | Clarksville, TN Newborn & Child Photographer

This little lady is quite possibly one of the cutest little dolls to ever grace the front of my camera.  She had spunk, she had attitude, and she had posing under control.  She was tons of fun to capture, and the camera seemed to love her as well.

{So Big!} | Clarksville, TN Infant Photographer

This little man and I decided to take his ninth month milestone session to the great outdoors! It was bright and early in the morning. The dew was thick on the grass. There was a little nip to the air. It was just a fabulous day to be outside....even for this night owl who doesn't like to get up early. *wink*

Thanks for being such a trooper, Mr. {L}. I think you did an awesome job representing the cuteness that you are!

{Has it been a YEAR?} | Clarksville, TN Toddler Photographer

It's so bitter sweet to watch all these little babies I've seen over the past year grow up! To watch this little man go from such a teeny newborn to such a cute, big boy has been so much fun! You'll have to come back and visit me from time to time so I can see how much bigger you've gotten. :)

This little blue eyed, blondie was a joy to be around. He was so busy and curious the entire time he was here. Fun to watch, hard to catch! :) But, we came away with some fun and cute images that I hope the parents love.

Enjoy!

{Mr. D is ONE!} | Clarksville, TN Infant Photographer

Mr. D came back to visit me for his first birthday session. Oh, my, goodness has this boy grown in the past six months! The hair and curls, the cute baby chub, and walking all over the place make him an official toddler instead of infant now. *sniffle*

I had fun watching you play and explore and eat cake today! And, might I say, you sure can eat some cake! :) I hope your mommy and daddy enjoy their sneak peeks from today.

{The Clouds Parted} | Clarksville, TN Family & Child Photographer

This gorgeous family braved the rain and followed me out to one of my favorite spots. The whole way there I prayed the clouds would at least give us a small hole to use for just a small amount of time.

Well, we get there and it's still sort of sprinkling. They brave the sprinkles and come gather under this huge tree whose canopy offered shelter from the rain drops. Just as we were finishing up, a huge hole opened up the sky and let the sun shine through! :) Gotta love the power of prayer!

I enjoyed acting goofy and braving the weather with your family. I hope you enjoyed yourselves as well and love the images we captured doing so.

{Happy Birthday!} | Clarksville, TN Child Photographer

Happy birthday, {C}-man! He turns TWO today! :)

This little guy is just the cutest - tow head blonde with big, blue eyes. He was a tough cookie in the beginning, but he started to come around when we started jumping off of things, running around places, and THROWING ROCKS! lol Yep, we let him throw rocks. :) It's amazing what some rock throwing will do for a boy's disposition. *tee hee*

I had fun with you yesterday, and I hope your mommy enjoys her sneak peek from your session.

{All I Want For Christmas....} | Clarksville, TN Child and Family Photographer

...is my two front teeth!

These guys were so fun! Yet another example of me making a complete GOOF of myself to get the smiles and laughs, but it was worth it in the end!

I'm glad I got to spend some time with you young men and capture this fun and fleeting time of tooth loss! Every mom loves a snaggle tooth smile, and I'm excited your mom chose me to capture this moment in your life!

Enjoy!

{Great Grans} | Clarksville, TN Child and Family Photographer

So, let me say I feel so honored to have photographed this group of kids and women. Why? Because they drove 6 HOURS to come see me! Me! Jamie Lynn Photography! How awesome and flattering is that?

I had been prepped and told I was going to have my work cut out for me. And, besides making a complete FOOL of myself to get some laugh out of the kiddos, I think the session went smoothly. :) I can only imagine what was going through everyone's heads when I was shaking my booty or making funny animal noises. :P All for the shot, right?

I hope you find your images were worth the trip - and I hope Great Grandma falls in love with the images you pick for her. :)

How excited was I to have all eyes on me in this shot? No head swapping necessary!

I hope your mommy enjoys all the pictures of you, Miss {H}. I know I do!

Meet the {D} Family! Aren't they a handsome bunch? Or, maybe I should say pretty....because Dad is the only MALE. :) Even the pup is a girl! *wink*

I had fun exploring with your family at the park. Thanks for enduring the heat and those mean mosquitos! I hope you find your images are worth it. :)

Getting Caught Up!

My, my, my has it been a whirlwind of a week this past week! I've been so busy I haven't had time to blog. Craziness! I feel so blessed. :) Remember, though, you can always view sneak peeks on my Facebook Page. It's so much faster than loading, transferring and sharing my story. *tee hee*

And, so, sit back, relax, and enjoy (hopefully) what I've been busy doing.
