Little Mr. L came to visit me today to show me how much he's grown since his newborn session. And, my has he grown! It's hard to believe that he's only 3 months - he reminds me of my son who always looked much older than he really was.

As promised, here are more peeks into yesterday's newborn session. I cannot express how excited I was to have her grace my camera - it has been a crazy season of little men lately, so I was super delighted to have a little lady to play with.

At only two days past her due date, this little five week old beauty was so tiny (in comparison to my gargantuan children!). She also had the most fantastic head of hair I've ever seen on a newborn. Pantene - you may have your next hair model. :)

I had the extreme pleasure of having royalty come see me today. This beautiful little princess with her porcelain skin and big, blue eyes was quite the lady for me today. As a parent you LOVE this age because your child is so curious and learning all new things - as a photographer, you get a good workout trying to get that all coveted eye contact. :) Thank goodness for your fishie, Miss A. :D

Mr. G came to visit me again for his three month session! My, oh my, how this little man has grown since I last saw him. He's super tall like daddy and has the sweetest singing voice around. He had lots and lots to say about having that big ole camera lens in his face. :)

It was so good to see you, Mr. G, and how much you've grown. I can't wait to see you in another three months and watch your transformation then, too!

I have been incredibly fortunate to have so many six month old little boys grace my studio. This little man was no exception!

Mr. O was the perfect smiley gentleman. Even with the sniffles, he didn't fail to cackle and crack and smile on command. :D Love it!

It was a blast seeing you today, Mom and Mr. O! I hope you love your sneak peeks. :) I look forward to seeing how much you grow in the months to come.

This was probably one of the cutest couples I've had the pleasure of having in front of my camera. Mom-to-be was absolutely GLOWING for being due just two weeks from the day she was here. Can you say jealous?!?!

I can't wait the arrival of little Tic Tac and the big announcement of "It's a boy!" or "It's a girl!" Yes, that's right...it's all a surprise!

Meet the cutest sibling combo this side of the Mississippi! Mr. H and Miss B get their good looks honestly. It was definitely second time's a charm with these two. I had fun playing with you guys and running in the fields and watching the cows.

I just want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone that has been so flexible and understanding with my husband's scheduling and my resulting unavailability. You will never know how much it means to me to have such caring customers that are willing to reschedule, wait patiently, or be squeezed in last minute so that my family could enjoy these last few weeks and days together uninterrupted.

I don't usually post personal photographs or things on my blog, but I felt like I needed to share these - to show that I, too, am human. :) Thank goodness for tripods and wireless remotes! I was able to take MY family out yesterday to take family portraits before my husband deploys.

I cannot believe it's been since mid-November I blogged last! Thanks to some awesome people, I had an unbelievably busy and successful fall/Christmas season. So busy I had no time to blog!

So, I begin anew starting now! In the coming posts I'll share some of my favorite images from sessions you've missed out on.

But, for this post an announcement. I'm hosting a Cute Kid Contest! That's right, if you've got a cutie, I want to see him/her.

Here are the rules - you must email me an image of your cutie to jamielynnphotography@gmail.com. If you have had a session with me before, email me to let me know you'd like to enter your cutie, and I will include my favorite image from your session in the contest. I'll have a panel of fellow photographers narrow down the cuties to the top 5. I will then come to the blog and post those top 5 cuties here for the general public to vote.
